I certainly gained from my brief visit to the Danish Design Center in Copenhagen quite a few years back. In addition to proving a veritable gold-mine for nu-jazz lounge music, I left with this fun color-field photo.
It meshes well with my sense that just as important as form in design, is material use–indeed perhaps more-so. And to me, the less molested a piece of wood, metal, ceramic, plastic is, the better. Just let the materials speak for themselves, why don’t ya?
